As the title states? I'm curious?

How many of us actually employ someone.

As distinct from outsourcing to a service provider.

now I don't. Just my accountant who does my BAS each quarter and end of year financials.

But for the last 14 years I've had between 2-5 staff at any one time.
And I'm so glad that I don't have to employ anyone now! Staff cause more stress then any other factor in my business. Just little anoying things... especially when hiring young girls.

I'm hoping that I can grow my business big enough to 'employ' my husband. At least, be able to afford for him to give up his job and (1) help me as well as (2) set up his own business. This is what he really wants to do too.

I have one employee who works about 30 hours a week (she's also on a traineeship), one work experience person starting this week doing 5 hours and I have 4 Associates (subcontractors) on my team too.
