www.my-shop.com.au seems the easiest I can see, and it's cheap - from $4.95 a month Melissa

I needed to create a new shop several months ago and went with whamshoppes - www.wahmshoppes.com, they are american but has been easy. I got my website created by Where to Start Websites (oz designer) - www.wheretostartwebsites.com. Good luck.

Thanks for the recommendation Melissa . Jacque, I started My-Shop.com.au because I saw a need for an Australian version of WAHMShoppes. They have a great setup, but I had friends who were using it tell me they had problems with the order times and other things all being all in US format. There were a couple of other store site builders here, but they charged a fortune (like $100 a month) or you were in a mall setup. My-Shop gives you your own stand-alone store, so you can give out the URL just like any other custom made site.

Thankyou for the replies. I have checked out all the sites. I have browsed through all the sites made by my-shop and it looks great. Are there anymore templates than the ones on the site? Also if I decided to sign up, do i have access straight away? Thankyou

You do have access right away And I'm pretty sure there are more templates available too. Melissa

I activate the accounts manually, just to keep the server secure for everyone and avoid spammers, but you'll usually get access within one business day . You can see all the templates by clicking on the 'Sign Up' link in the menu. There are currently 82 templates avaliable, and they can all be customised in an HTML or WYSIWYG (no code) editor. Some really good ones to see as examples are: http://www.momentsinchocolate.com.au/http://www.keepsakestocherish.com.au/http://eclecticbaby.my-shop.com.au/All are owned and customised by members here. You can also design your own site from scratch if you know HTML, and there is a manual to help with that on the Help page .

Hi Jacque. I tried to set up my own e-commerce store by amending templates and I reckon I just didn't have the know-how/experience/ability to learn fast enough to do it! After many a frustrating day trying to work on it - I stumbled upon http://www.morrisbear.com a couple of weeks ago. It is an Australian site and they offer boutique and limited edition e-commerce sites. They were SO helpful, and are continuing to be so. Although my site isn't quite ready to go live (like no stock on it lol) I am so thrilled with the look/feel of it. I realise you may have already found something, but if not, they're definitely worth a look or chat to.
