After just releasing my second Dollar $aver Coupons booklet, i find myself drawn to yet another pocket publication and would like some valuable input from any or all WAHM members. I am currently looking into printing small booklets called Web Guides. The main objective of these booklets would be to give people who have businesses online an opportunity to advertise with print media distributed Australia wide. As far as distribution of books goes this would be done as follows;
any online business that advertises will have a nominated number of booklets sent to them to distribute amongst their family, friends, clients, etc as a way of cross networking. This gives their customers a handy reference guide when they want to visit their site again without having to wade through dozens of searches to find you. EG WAHM members are located all over Australia as are thousands of online businesses. WAHM members advertise, receive their booklets (all covered for in advertising cost) and distribute them. I forgot to mention that these books would be printed for niche markets such as Weddings, Wineries, Baby, attractions etc. I would appreciate some answers to these questions.
Have you considered Print media to promote your online business?
Have you ever used print media? If so, how successful was it?
Were you aware of the % of people who look up a website after reading about it?
What age group are you in - 18 to 30 30 to 50 50+
How many people would you like to tell about your business?
If you were given copies of booklets that included your business, would you be happy to give it to friends, family, clients etc or send it out when you fill orders?
Would you like to promote your online business to other English speaking countries?
Are you aware of the stats that say web surfers are Task Oriented - meaning when they go online, they go there for a purpose? and finally,
Do you think a guide such as this should be printed yearly, or half yearly?
Thanks so much for your time and input, Kind Regards, Becky
