I feel it's important to hear about other people's success because it can help climb over a hump, move through a challenge or motivate you to move forward. Please share with us your successes of late.

I landed a big account the other week where the reception is at the Versace. I thought that was rather exciting. For my own entertainment value, I also worked out how wide-flung some of my customers were and I surprised myself with the internation flavour! My invites have gone not only all over Australia but to places like Italy, Germany, Chile, USA, Austria, Taipai, Singapore, Fiji, United Arab Emirates, Croatia, Romania, Thailand and even South Korea! I've also been concentrating on SEO and my website has just started to show results in my chosen keyword search. Very happy as it's a saturated keyword unfortunately. What a lovely idea- would love to hear your successes Nicole. Well done on the Versace client Spritely!! The past couple of weeks have been awesome for business. I have introduced my Business Starter Packs and added a Resources Page to my website. This week I have gained 2 new clients (ongoing). One is a Beauty company based in America which I am most excited about. The products are devine which is a bonus and she has some Major contracts/events coming up (yes a big brag- one being a Sponser for the Oscars) So I am so so excited. Also had confirmation today and joined Leigh over at Hire My Mum as one of her 'Experts' in my field to assist other Mums with their VA related Business/Questions etc. So what a HUGE brag this post is- but I am quite pleased with how everything is going this Year so far Oh and my baby (not so much) son turns 3 next week and tomorrow my lil Princess is 6 months!!! What are your successes?

Congrats on the Versace contract Spritely and it's great your work is international. Erin, congratulation on all your success. It seems like you've formed some great alliances. For me, Bauhinia Solutions has been really busy lately and I seemed to have cracked the HK market. HK is all about word of mouth, more so than I've ever experienced in Australia and it's a cultural thing. I've been successful in working with expats, but new clients are now local people who have great contacts, so a few alliances are forming. However, with cracking the HK local market, people want to meet with me rather than do things via email or telephone, so I'm trying to manage that and introduce them to the benefits of not needing to meet with me. We've also finished off a few projects or are in the process of finalising them. It's all good! All exciting things.

Great question, Nicole and thanks for asking (I've been trying to deal with a heap of stuff by myself of late - and it hasn't been much fun) My book is being published later this month (I hope!) and I have secured a speaking gig for May which I'm really excited about. I've had the software on my site updated and rebranded Real Mums with Bad Mother's Club ... and the site is looking fabulous (although we're still working on it - so don't look yet. or look, but don't comment coz I know! LOL) Lots of room, now, for growth, which I'm really excited about

I met with the Ahava managers from Israel last week... and it was great to get their support and encouragement. My distributor in Sydney (who has always been supportive) phoned me later and said that (1) they were very impressed with me and (2) she would be happy to provide as many products as I need (for free) to promote Ahava via the top blogs (my future plans). I've got ontop of my 08-09 bookwork... and working my way through 09-10 books. I've got a helper coming this weekend to work on data entry to help me along. Sales have been going nuts! I had a feeling that 2010 was going to be successful... and my business is just going from strength to strength. Congrats Spritely for your awesome contract! You too Erin... you've been really working hard lately, and it's paying off Nicole... woohoo about the HK market! I bet that will be huge. Amanda... I'm so impressed you are a published author! And you are always flat out working on things. You really are super-woman!

A very good read for the newbies. My success after another failed sale this morning, is that finally I think I have worked out what is causing the failure when people elect to pay via credit card. It has bugged me from the start to the point I had no confidence in the back end..basically if anyone wanted to buy something from my site there was a %50 chance it probably wouldn't process if via credit card payment. I am actually happy to find a "real" problem not a cyberspace excuse. It hasn't been fixed yet but at least something can be done...not by me just have to wait patiently. Just to have confidence in my website will be my sucess (although I doubt I will ever be 100%).

I got another success an hour ago. I have a regular customer who purchases products nearly every month. Most of his orders vary between $200 - $350.... which is above average. Today he placed an order - $667 !!!! the irony is... it's a guy (yep, my #1 customer is male). He's also Jewish (probably Israeli)... and could probably get his products cheaper if he had them sent directly from Israel... but he really supports my business.

My small win of late would be the installation of a wonderful invoicing program that lets me send PDF/Word/Excel invoices to clients.
Yay!
So much more professional that the DIY options I had in the past.
Next Step: make the invoices match my brand colourings and logos.

Half a course and another webinar written and ready to go live! I had done a dummy run of it, only to find out I didn't turn on my microphone, but It allows me to tweak what wasn't coming naturally to me
