I returned to the doc today to check on pain levels - stll very high but not going to admit me yet, but he gave me some brilliant news to look forward to. They have been trialling a new drug with 13 of their CFS sufferers and after 3 months 8 have completely recovered, two have improved slightly with 3 having no change in their condition. He wants me to start on them as soon as my neck is sorted and I'm off the killer pain killers that I'm on. Best health news I have had for ages, fingers crossed I am one of the lucky ones. DH was with me and he told Doc he would do anything to get his workaholic chic back, how sweet! that's awesome news. How good would it be to kick that CFS !!!!! I feel your pain hon. My physio strapped me up like an Egyptian mummy this afternoon.

Great news Liz! Let me know once you get started on the new drugs and if it works. I think a daughter of a close friend of mine has CFS too. Would be good to share this good news around.
