When I open the WNA Homepage it's totally white above the fold except for the three ads down the left-hand side of the page ("Improve your Conversion Rate", "..number of transactions" etc).

Then I scroll down and the forum starts.

Don't know if anyone else is seeing the same thing?

I'm getting that too and also the Sky with the bold underline is chopping off the Supporting..... (that's been happening for a while though).

let me guess, those that are having problems are you using IE7?

It's my way of telling you to upgrade Smile

(i am just joking)

I will get it working for IE7

But I do actually recommend the upgrade to IE8

Yep that would be me - do I have to upgrade though? When I moved here my computer guru's upgraded me due to the internet problems I experienced and then they removed it stating that I was better to stick with 7?????

It is fixed for all of those on IE7.

I would recommend IE8, I am not sure why they would recommend IE7.

It's older, bugger and non compliant and it wouldn't cause internet problems.

my layout is okay... but since you've added the large square boxed adverts at the top.... I have to page down/scroll just to see the forum & links with 'search, active topics etc'.

This is really painful!
The entire "first page" is just all adverts and the banner.

Could the banner be reduced to a single line of links?
or the starlight advert put below the forum posts?
or the new large adverts reduced so that it doesn't take up so much space.. or they be placed on the sides?

Working good now thanks Adam. IE7 wasn't causing the internet problems they were just clutching at straws at the time out of desperation. I will look at upgrading over Christmas when things might be a bit slower.

I can see!

I ended upgrading to IE8 - thanks Adam!

postscript: I notice IE8 gives you a 'compatibility view' button on your toolbar that enables you to view websites designed for older browsers.

Hi Jodie

The top boxes actually aren't adverts, they are articles, tools, interviews etc written and done by either Kiera or myself.

I know they are a bit large, I will see what I can do to make more efficient use of the space above.

cool adam....

Or even if you were able to put that single line that has
"logged in as, inbox, search, active topics..."
above the banner/starlight - rather then below it. or at the very top... above the large boxes?

Every time I come to this forum... first thing I do is hit active topics so it would handy to have that on the "first" page.

Sorry to be so picky....
